What we do

The Light Horse Scouts is a mounted anti-poaching unit.
We train in Australia and deploy to South Africa to defend wildlife reserves from illegal poaching operations.

Our mission is simple:
Protect endangered wildlife, support conservation efforts, and train men to serve with courage, discipline, and skill.

Scouts are trained in horsemanship, fieldcraft, tracking, navigation, and anti-poaching tactics.
We work in partnership with local reserves and communities, aiming to support — not disrupt — their ongoing conservation work.
